Managing Director Barry Lloyd is one of the co founders of Activ8Kids. He has vast experience working in Summer camp programmes, coaching children aged 4-16. Barry is a graduate of Hartpury sports college where he played rugby and progressed his coaching, refereeing and sports theory knowledge. Barry then went on to study at Aberystwyth University in the sport and exercise science department gaining a 2nd class BSc degree. Barry has played county level rugby and football and has also represented mid and north Wales in both. He is now focusing his attention on growing the Activ8Kids programme by passing on his advanced sporting knowledge to the children he coaches and promoting healthy active lifestyles. Barry also holds presentations for Dynamo on behalf of the Welsh Assembly on the ins and outs of starting up in business and hands on Sports Science Seminars. Managing Director Joe Murray is one of the co founders of Activ8Kids and is committed to promoting sport in children. Joe has lots of experience coaching a wide variety of sports and is always looking to further his and others skills. Joe attended Aberystwyth University and studied sport and exercise science gaining a very good BSc Higher 2nd class degree. Joe has coached children locally for many years since gaining his first coaching badge aged 16. He has coached ages 4-16 and loves passing on his skills and knowledge to improve others. Joe played goalkeeper for Wales juniors and rugby at county and regional level representing Powys, mid and north Wales. He is also a dark horse with a badminton racket. Joe is also Newtown RFC 1st team Captain. Joe works outside of Activ8Kids with many different teams through a range of sports passing on his knowledge to young beginners right throough to seasoned veterans.
